	Welcome ESPECTS analyses the effectiveness of different approaches to becoming a professional scriptwriter.

What is ESPECTS?

An in-depth analysis of the effectiveness of university and film school scriptwriting training programmes in the EU. ESPECTS aims to identify the most effective training methods that lead scriptwriters to professional employment within the audiovisual sector and to outline these methods in a best-practices model.

ESPECTS has been set up to find out if there is a correlation between different methods of the formal undergraduate or graduate teaching scriptwriting throughout Europe and the ability of those trained to become professional writers, earning most of their income from writing. ESPECTS is a pilot procjet in the framework of LEONARDO DA VINCI Community Vocational Training Action Programme

The benefits of ESPECTS:

Proposing a debate around a best-practices model which will be made available to students and institutions.

Integrating industry needs more effectively into the training of scriptwriters.
